NXT-LP Low-profile HPS for low-ceiling rooms
Engineered specifically for low-ceiling applications, the NXT-LP is a professional horticultural luminaire that offers the same industry-leading performance as the rest of the NXT family. Its ultra-low-profile design leaves more space between the fixture and the crop.

Full-size performance in a low-profile fixture
The NXT-LP brings the output and efficiency of the NXT family into an ultra-low-profile body, so growers with limited headroom get more space between the fixture and the crop without giving up performance.
Low-profile design
At just 7.5 inches tall, the NXT-LP mounts close to the ceiling and leaves more room between the fixture and the canopy.
High-efficiency electronic driver
A high-efficiency electronic ballast delivers stable, consistent output. For dimming and central control, the NXT-LP IQ version connects to a 0-10V control system through the P.L. Light IQ Digital Converter.
Optimal thermal performance
Engineered heat management keeps the fixture running reliably for years of maintenance-free operation.
High-performance reflector
The Beta reflector redirects 93.5 percent of lamp output onto the crop for deep, uniform canopy penetration.
Built for low ceilings
The NXT-LP’s ultra-low-profile design was built for rooms with limited headroom. It mounts close to the ceiling while leaving more space between the fixture and the crop.
The standard NXT-LP is not controllable. For centralized dimming, choose the NXT-LP IQ version, which can be dimmed using any 0-10 volt control system connected to the P.L. Light IQ Digital Converter.
Reflector performance
The NXT-LP with Beta reflector delivers a focused field of illumination between 0 and 45 degrees in the lower hemisphere, producing uniformly deep light penetration into the canopy with a reflector efficiency of 93.5 percent.
Reflector efficiency is the percentage of light emitted by the HPS lamp that the reflector redirects onto the crop surface.
Mounting options
The NXT-LP mounts to truss and track structures. Two brackets are required per luminaire, and hardware is included.
- 2 in x 1 in truss bracket (with hardware)
- 1-5/8 in track bracket (with hardware)

NXT-LP questions, answered
What makes the NXT-LP different from the NXT2?
The NXT-LP is the low-profile member of the NXT family. At 7.5 inches tall it mounts closer to the ceiling and leaves more space above the crop, which suits rooms with limited headroom.
Can the NXT-LP be dimmed or centrally controlled?
The standard NXT-LP is not controllable. If you need dimming and scheduling, choose the NXT-LP IQ version, which works with any 0-10V control system through the P.L. Light IQ Digital Converter. Your regional sales manager can confirm which version fits your project.
What wattages and voltages does it support?
The NXT-LP is available in 1,000W (208V, 240V, 277V, or 347V) and 600W (277V or 347V), all at 50 or 60 Hz.
How does the NXT-LP mount?
It fits a 2 in x 1 in truss bracket and a 1-5/8 in track bracket, with hardware included. Two brackets are required per luminaire.
