Wireless mesh control

A self-healing GrowFlux mesh reaches every luminaire, with 500 feet line of sight per hop and networks that span 10 km or more across a facility.

PAR-sensor control and analytics

RF data is AES128 encrypted and the app layer is TLS encrypted, with no inbound connections. The platform keeps running through connectivity loss and power failures.

How GrowFlux works

GrowFlux adds a secure wireless layer to your LED lighting in three parts:

  • A Universal Dimmer on the luminaires controls up to 50 lights and joins a self-healing wireless mesh.
  • An Access Point bridges that mesh to the internet over Ethernet for remote management and scheduling.
  • The GrowFlux app and cloud give you scheduling, PAR-sensor control, zone management, and energy analytics from any device.

Without an Access Point, the dimmer still runs with local pushbutton control.

GrowFlux Universal Dimmer

Schedules and dims up to 50 luminaires and meshes automatically with nearby GrowFlux devices. Rated IP66 for the growing environment, with pushbutton control on the unit and full app control once an Access Point is added.

The kit includes:

  • Power cord with 120V plug and power supply adapter

GrowFlux Access Point

Bridges the GrowFlux mesh to the internet over Ethernet, unlocking remote management and scheduling through the app and cloud. Uses Bluetooth for initial setup and installs firmware updates over the air.

Do I need an Access Point?

The Access Point connects the wireless mesh to the internet for remote management and scheduling through the GrowFlux app and cloud. Without one, the Universal Dimmer still works with local pushbutton control.

Which luminaires work with GrowFlux?

Every P.L. Light Systems LED luminaire is compatible with GrowFlux wireless controls. GrowFlux also works with third-party products marked “Powered by GrowFlux”.

How many luminaires can one dimmer control?

A single GrowFlux Universal Dimmer controls up to 50 luminaires. Larger growing areas add dimmers, which mesh together automatically.

How far does the wireless signal reach?

Each hop covers about 500 feet line of sight, or 300 feet indoors through most walls. The self-healing mesh links devices together and can span networks over 10 km (6 miles).
