Specifying LED lighting for a greenhouse

Every fixture below starts as a light plan. Before a quote goes out, our team models your facility dimensions, mounting height, and target DLI in professional light planning software, then specifies the fixture and spectrum that hits it.

The lineup covers greenhouse top lighting with ParFX Ultra, TriPlane Linear, and BalensBeam; vertical farming with VertiMax; and under-canopy with BudBoost. Spectrum options run from fixed single-channel recipes to a fully tunable four-channel ParFX Ultra Max.

If you are replacing HPS, the DLC Horticultural listing matters. It is what utility rebate programs check before they calculate an incentive. Listings are granted per model and spectrum, so confirm the exact configuration you are specifying.

Fixtures ship on pallets with the light plan and cabling layout. Your electrician handles the install, and we return to measure the growing area and confirm it is hitting the levels we modeled.

Common questions about LED grow lights

Most greenhouse growers start with top lighting. ParFX Ultra and TriPlane Linear cover the majority of greenhouse applications, and BalensBeam suits lower light level crops and growing areas with limited mounting height. The light plan settles it, since fixture choice depends on your mounting height, crop, and target DLI.
The LED lineup is DLC Horticultural listed, which is the qualification most North American utility rebate programs check. Our guide to qualifying for energy rebates walks through the process. Listings are granted per model and spectrum, so confirm the exact configuration you are specifying before you file.
In most cases yes. Our LED fixtures are engineered to accommodate a one-for-one retrofit from an existing HPS system, so the mounting positions and spacing already in the structure can usually be reused. We still model the existing layout and return fixture count, spacing, and connected load before a quote, since mounting height and DLI target decide the final spec. Budgeting for an LED retrofit covers what to expect on cost.
No. Fixtures ship on pallets with the light plan and cabling layout, and your licensed electrician handles the install. We return afterward to measure light levels and recalibrate if fixtures are mounted off-spec.
